The Canon C70 is our compact cinema workhorse — the perfect blend of portability and high-end image quality. We use it across everything from travel-heavy documentary shoots to lean commercial work, and it’s a favourite when we’re working with small crews or moving fast.

It’s the first Canon Cinema EOS camera to feature an RF lens mount, bringing next-gen autofocus and lens tech into the cinema world. Paired with Canon’s Super 35mm DGO sensor (the same one found in the C300 Mark III), it captures stunning 4K up to 120fps and delivers a massive 16+ stops of dynamic range. Great in low light, fast to rig, and beautiful straight out of camera.
