Aputure LS 60x Bi-Colour LED Light
Compact, powerful and built for real-world video production in Melbourne.
The Aputure LS 60x is a lightweight, high-output LED light we use regularly across corporate video productions, branded content shoots, and documentary interviews. As a Melbourne-based video production company, we know how important it is to have gear that adapts to fast-changing conditions and diverse locations — and this little light consistently delivers.
With a beam angle that ranges from a focused 15° to a softer 45° spread, the 60x gives us the flexibility to shape light precisely — whether it’s being bounced off ultrabounce for a soft fill or used directly to edge out an interview subject. Its bi-colour range (2700K to 6500K) allows us to quickly match the lighting conditions on set, whether we’re filming in warm interiors or daylight-heavy office environments.
Because it’s battery-compatible (NP-F and V-mount) and IP54 weather-resistant, we regularly use the LS 60x on location shoots where mobility, speed, and reliability are crucial — and where Melbourne’s unpredictable weather might be a factor. It’s also compact enough to mount on smaller stands, rig overhead, or travel in tight kit setups.
This is one of the lights we pack on nearly every shoot — from corporate video interviews in the CBD to fast-paced promotional content out in the suburbs.
