Branded Content Series
REA Group partnered with Miele to produce a three-part branded content series exploring how premium kitchen and laundry appliances add value to Australian homes. Working alongside REA’s video team — Video Producer John Holdsworth and Video Creative Lead Jared Barnes — we produced three hero videos (Kitchen, Laundry, and Real Estate) plus accompanying social edits, each blending scripted presenter segments with documentary-style storytelling.
Our Approach
Bree led pre-production across all three episodes — casting talent (Charlie, Aimee, and Leah), sourcing real Melbourne homes with Miele appliances already installed, and coordinating between REA, Miele, and our crew. Josh directed scripted teleprompter segments with the talent on location, combined with natural, documentary-style b-roll of the homes and appliances in use. Each episode required its own visual identity while maintaining consistency across the series — custom Miele and REA branded graphics, product configuration images supplied by Miele, and a warm colour grade that the client specifically requested to differentiate the series from REA’s usual content.
The Result
Three hero videos and three social edits delivered across a four-month production timeline. The collaborative feedback process ran through Frame.io with both REA and Miele reviewing each cut — a two-client approval chain that required clear communication and efficient revision cycles. John Holdsworth’s response to the edits captured the tone of the project: he loved the work and had minimal notes. The series now sits across REA’s content channels, showcasing the Miele partnership and establishing a template for future branded content collaborations between the two brands.
